This 60-minute 101 course will give you the information you need to get started with your non-profit or small business. It serves as a clear map to turn your idea into a legally recognized and functional entity. By cutting through the confusing jargon, we provide a step-by-step checklist for state and federal filings. You will learn how to build a professional foundation, from setting up bank accounts to establishing "rules of the house" correctly from day one.
A notary public acts as an officially commissioned witness to prevent fraud by verifying the identity and willingness of people signing important legal documents. Their primary duty is to review government-issued IDs to ensure that the individuals involved are who they claim to be and are signing voluntarily.
